Mike is a Leading IT and Marketing Strategist, Senior Professional in Human Resources and Master Solution Architect with over 25 years of experience working in a variety of industries helping businesses to architect, integrate, manage, train and develop business technology, marketing and human resources solutions. 

Mike is a graduate of Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and has the aPHR, PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP Certifications.  He is married to Elga R Lejarza-Penn and together they launched HRTrainingClasses.com shortly after they married in February of 2018.

Darren is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) with more than 20 years of experience in leadership and training, he is committed to the power of cultivating and developing teams through diversity, equality, and inclusion.  He believes every business and team can achieve any goal through revolutionary ideas and diverse viewpoints.

Darren’s professional experience as a Corporate Manager of Training & Operations is where he developed many new and exciting programs and processes to elevate the company’s profit margins while increasing employee engagement and retention.  Receiving the prestigious “Mother Bread” award at Panera Bread and additionally creating and implementing new material at other top 100 Fast Causal concepts, Darren became one of the youngest leading Training General Managers.  While showing compassion for the community, Darren has served as a Certified Crisis Intervention Specialist with Miami-Dade Children’s Trust and Fulton County's Trauma Intervention Program.  He also has been a team leader for Miami-Dade Autism Speaks.   

Darren is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, double majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice.  Born in New York and raised in New Jersey, Darren has previously lived in the Washington, DC metro area and Atlanta prior to moving to South Florida 14 years ago, where he now lives in Miami with his family.  One of Darren’s favorite things to do is to travel around the world learning new cultures and eating exotic foods.
